Default Roger Waters Dark Side Tour DVD

So lately word has been circluating that Roger will be releasing a DVD of his Dark Side of the Moon tour. Roger has filmed a total of 4 shows now (Vancouver, Calgery, and two UK shows). But after the filming of these shows word came out from Roger's manager saying that these shoots were only for Roger's personal home archive and that there are no plans to release them to the general public.

So that brings up my question, what do you guys think of Roger's possible decision of not releasing the footage and keeping it for his own personally archives, i.e. The Wall footage?

Oh and ps.... I just read this. According to Dave Kilmister (guitarist on Roger's current tour), after the tour is all over Roger will sit down and review the tapes and will deem whether he thinks they are suitable to be released. So anything is possible with this DVD lol.... my guess is DVD sometime in 2008.

I would personally love to see the DVD. I wasn't able to see him in Los Angeles, but wish I could of been there.

At the Vancouver show, I talked to the guy on the mixing board and asked about the video recording equipment. He said this show and Calgary were being shot for a DVD release to come out spring 2008. But of course it will be up to Roger to decide in the end if they get released. My gut instinct is it won't. The show was lacking a certain feel, and the band seemed stiff in there performance compaired to all the previous tours he has done.
