This would really be cool. Only problem is I dont own a home to mortgage to buy tickets. One cool idea would be a return to small venues. 5 to 10 day runs in places like The Fillmore in San Francisco. Maybe even a return to those prices of yesteryear. I can dream cant I?

Well if this does actually come together, more shows at smaller venues would make a lot of sense and might be the way they would set it up given Roger's known aversion to big stadium gigs. Ticket prices are an entirely different matter however. LOL You might still need that mortgage. Would be extremely cool though, especially if they were to cut a new album. A dream come true for a lot of us.

Meh, I don't see this happening. I highly doubt Roger would be willing to play stuff from The Division Bell and Momentary Lapse of Reason(I don't blame him, if I were him I wouldn't either) and probably the rest of the band would want to if they went on tour(can't blame them either).

I'd put good money betting against this.

If they did cut a new album before the tour, they would probably play that all the way through and fill the rest of the show with tracks from The Wall and before. That would seem most likely to me. I believe the sticking point here is Dave, since he seems to be the only one opposed to the idea at this point, although I haven't heard Rick's specific views on this issue. I think Rick would go along with it though if Dave did.

I wouldn't want to bet against it as I've seen people change their minds too often to say Dave absolutely wouldn't do it, although I'll admit he hasn't sounded too hip on the idea. With his solo career going as well as it is, he may still think it wouldn't be worth the hassle, and who could blame him? But surprising things have happened before (Live 8, for instance) and may well happen again. The fact that Dave is the only one seemingly opposed at this point makes it more hopeful than ever before, imo. Dave seems to be a pretty agreeable person and might just decide it would be worth it after all, if only for old times sake. Be interesting to see how it turns out now that Roger is on board with the idea.

It is very believable that they will do a reunion tour. Like the video said, they could possible do The Wall over again, but I don't think that will happen because the wall is a Roger Waters solo project basically in my point of view. I think they could possible do first set Animals and second set DSOTM or first set WyWH and 2nd set DSOTM or some thing like that. But if they do start a reunion tour I would see them as many times considering that we will all witness one of there deaths coming up. Plus I think that it will be a small tour, (London, NY, LA)

Bite your tongue, Justin. Hopefully they will all be alive and well and still making great music at 110 years young. Knock wood cross your fingers and light a candle. As far as I know they are all still in decent health and hopefully they will stay that way for years and years and years to come.

Well, I was not saying that they will die, I was saying they could die. My main point is that after years and years of playing great stuff, they could possibly be too old to do a huge tour. But at least non of them are like Eddie Van Halen getting a hip replacement and fake teeth with a drug and alcohol problem.lol.

I truly think Roger would love to do The Wall again, but I don't think Dave will allow it.

I'm sure Roger would probably love to tour The Wall again, although I have heard him talk about this and not only is it an extremely expensive show to stage, but Father Time has not been kind to the props and most everything would have to be reconstructed, which would be a major undertaking. And if they did cut a new album I'm sure they would want to perform that in it's entirety, plus selected tracks from other albums. Without a new album I would figure they would do a mix of tracks ranging from the early years up through The Wall, just as they now do in part in their solo shows.

Of course, they could do a show exclusively covering Buck Owens and Count Basie numbers and I would still go and see them as many times as my bank account would allow.
