Default New Gilmour show!

Wow - the Germany show is fantastic! Just to hear Wots's Uh the Deal was enough to send me into interstellar overdrive, but the whole show sounds great! Thanks for adding it! Kudos to whoever is running this site!!

I LOVE the new Shine On!! Great show!! I can't wait for more. There was a large blank space at the end of Castellorizon. Is it inherent to the recording or did I get a glitch when I downloaded? Not complaining, just wondering.

The blank space was part of the show....Dave stopped between songs from time to time to tune up and get things together for the next one...

Never mind. I deleted and redownloaded the file. It's fine. I must've had a glitch during the d/l. No problems (except for the disk I wasted!).

Cool...I wasnt exactly sure what you had meant by the space...I knew there were times where there was a pause between shows while Dave was getting prepared.

There are alot of bootlegs of his tour in circulation....most are real high quality...some video as well.

Default Dave tour

Hopefully, some of the radio broadcasts will be uploaded, too. Italian radio is doing one this weekend. That will give us a full concert with better sound quality than the audience recordings.

Hey all:

Just a quick notice the IFPI is majorly trying to shut down our website. Due to us hosting the Frankfurt, Germany RoIO. They are claiming we are hosting copyrighted material and threatening our datacenter with legal sanctions (LOL).

But the problem is, our datacenter is investigating the situation and could possible decide to terminate our server. I am going to mail the entire list of what is going on, and hopefully things will be resolved. RoIos are not illegal, but these IFPI assholes are really trying to make them illegal.

This is bullshit....that roio isnt copyrighted....David knows his shows are being taped and FREELY traded....

...but if they bitch, Id rather see you remove the show than lose the site. People can get that show in MANY other places.

Default Don't fight it if it means losing all

I must agree with Spectre. I'm really the last one to give in to bullying, but they may have more power, right or wrong. If it looks like a very costly fight, I would just drop the show. Of course the danger of letting the bully win is the precedent set. Tough call. Let us know how we can help.
