Default My first DG experience

I first discovered the true beauty of Pink Floyd around three to four years ago. Upon telling a friend that I had never heard their work, he sat me down and played the entire DSoTM album from start to finish. Ever since, I've been hooked.

I really enjoyed his work on The Division Bell in songs like Keep Talking, Take it Back, and High Hopes. His slide solo at the end of the album is one of the best that I've ever heard.

I purchased the remastered PULSE DVD on the first day that it hit stores. I immediately drove home and proceeded to watch it from start to finish, as well as all bonus material. The light show and acoustics are first rate. I only wish that I could have seen the show for myself.

I've been appreciating DG's solo works more and more. Although he doesn't capture the true magic of PF, he comes very close. On An Island was simply amazing.

Viva Gilmour
