My vote .... "Atom Heartmother goes on the road" '70-'71.
Hasn't been posted to this site yet but I'm planning on liberating it from silvers sometime this year.

I realized that I posed the question yet did not give my response.

The Man the Journey.

The Electric Factory.

Hollywood Bowl.

There are certainly better recordings than these (bbc) but I tend to find myself playing these three quite often.

my favorit would be the early 72 performance from sapporo japan
i think its the ultimate dark side show. breathe is slow and "twangy" like it should be, and dave and rics vocals on time are great.
smoking blues is another favorit.

Default So many to choose from, and so many excellent ROIOS

I will go with ROIOS for each year, not necessarily specific gigs for this one.

1967 - BBC Archives 1967-1969 (have to include this for the Syd material)
1968 - The Live Pink Floyd (Rotterdam) - poor sound, but great set list
1969 - Complete Concertgebouw ('nuff said)
1970 (my all time favorite ROIO, period) - Interstellar Encore - absolutely stellar performance, even though Dave blows the lyrics for "Green is the Colour," astonishing soundboard quality, the crowd is into it, and even Roger is clearly in a great mood. Absolutely devastating versions of "A Saucerful of Secrets" and "Interstellar Overdrive." This one is so good that I almost feel as if I were sitting right next to the taper in the Fillmore.
1971 - Meddled or Electric Factory
1972 - (impossible to find pre-Darkside shows, as the first dark side gig was at Brighton Dome in January!) - Cold Front (Hokkaido Arena, Sapporo Japan)
That should about do it.

HAHA, well I can never say there is a favorite for me, as I guess it depends what mood I'm in, But standouts I always think of are;ROTTERDAM, Nov. 13, 1967, I know alot of people say its a poor recording, But something about it stands out BLiss To me, The atmosphere Is awesome & is a great documented recording for SYD era Floyd, Interstellar overdrive is so chaotic I feel Almost what syd was feeling.

ELECTRIC FACTORY- another Great Show! Amazing Recording
EMBRYO Live In sandiego 1971- Its prob My fav, version of careful.Such massive atmosphere especialy in gilmours guitar playing!

OH man I really Like em all! I have no favorite really.
& yes! MONTREAUX Is Amazing! 1971~ & INTERSTELLAR ENCORE IS AMAZING, What can I say, ...A different mood ... adifferent show... a different era..

KQED. And the 1972/06/29 performance at Earl's Court. (Wasn't it called something like "Superstars in Concert"...?)
