Hello (I Love You)

So I've heard the new Roger Waters song Hello (I Love You) in its entirety. I really dont know if its just because its new or what, but I am almost prepared to say its his best song to date. The lyrics are kind of remeniscent of floydian days and the guitar solo is very Gilmour esque. All and all I would give this song five stars, two thumbs up, an A+, or whatever other high acclaim I can give it.

Gave it a listen, I give it maybe... 3.5 stars myself, though I must admit music usally needs to grow on me...

I have listened to the song several times and would not say it's one of his best. His voice is pretty much shot. Personally, my favorite is "Sexual Revolution" from Pros and Cons.

Sexual Revolution is very good, but i feel i must defend his new song. I don't think his voice is necessarily shot, of course it isn't what it used to be but Roger can still hit certain pitches that no other singer can. The song itself is beautifuly constructed and has a great guitar solo in it. Now I know i said early that I was close to saying that this was his best work ever, but that was a little bit of an overageration on my part. Even though I believe it to be in his top 5 for best solo songs, it is not his best to date.
