FloydTube.com is up in Beta

Hello PFWS Members:

I would like to welcome you to check out www.FloydTube.com. This is a new website idea that I came up with a few months back that I finally implemented yesterday. Mind you the website is still in Beta mode, but we will continue to update and tweak things a bit to have a 100% functional website.

There are currently 8 movies uploaded as of June 29th, 2008 and i'll be uploading roughly 10 more the next few days. Our Mods/Admins will also be uploading videos the next week. The goal is to have nearly 100 videos uploaded in a months time.

Post all questions, suggestions, ideas, etc... below. We want to hear from you!

June 30th, 2008 - We now have 18 videos uploaded. We also installed a YouTube grabber, so our members can drag Pink Floyd clips off of YouTube... and put it on FloydTube.com

I am also working on a way to directly link a movie clip from FloydTube.com to a thread on PinkFloyd.ws. Stay tuned!

P.S I'd like to thank the members who uploaded a few RoIOs. It's another goal of ours to upload 50 various RoIOs in .mp3 format for streaming on FloydTube.com! We would then put in the comments where you can download the full version of the RoIO album.

July 1st, 2008 - We are now up to 31 videos and continually adding more. Thanks to everyone who has signed up. We now have 49 registered members and growing!

It appears FloydTube.com is extremely popular. In the last hour its been averaging 250 unique visitors watching videos. We expect this trend to continue due to the popular niche that the website has. As of right now, I am not aware of another website like it.. that deals with Pink Floyd.
