Favourite Album From This Era?

Since u have one going for the early years, figured there should be one for the later years too.
To me this is the hardest era to choose from because its all magnificent. But I think Animals is a tad bit better then the others.

I wanted to vote ... anyway, this one made me think because I basically had to chose between Animals and the Wall ... and I surprized myself when I came down to Animals! Of course I love the wall and more important , the Wall shows, but Animals is a much tighter piece ... I even like Rogers singing in it (of course Dave's is always better). I have mentioned on another post that I feel that the Wall would be much better without the Roger "theatric" stuff, like one of my turns, the trial, etc. But puond for pound, Animals is a better album.

I have to say The Wall because of the sheer number of great cuts on it. I know it's flawed a bit, but I love The Wall's emotional punch. Animals has Dogs-one of my favorite Floyd songs, but the three long tunes can't quite equal The Wall. Final Cut is good but not great like these two records.

While I have to say that The Wall is better than probably around 95% of the corporate garbage that's out there today, I also have to say that Animals is my favourite album from this era. It's a perfect album.
