Default Favorite Beer and Hard Liquor Combo

Whats your favorite hard stuff and beer combo. Mine woud be Basil Hayden Bourbon and a glass of Anchor Steam Beer. Good tasty combo as long as its not overdone.

When I drink (which is rare), my favorite brew is Anchor Porter. I used to drink a Rusty Nail or three (scotch and drambuie) every now and then, but I'm off the hard stuff these days. Too many lost weekends and gargantuan hangovers.

Yeah same here. A bottle of Basil will last me almost 2 years and except for the occasional beer consumed most of the brew goes into my chili

Chili and beer... an explosive combination, lol. Never tried pouring the brew directly into the chili, but I'll give it a try next time it comes around on the menu. I really like both Anchor Porter and homemade chili, so it should be an interesting experiment.

Like with progressive rock, IMO, when it comes to beer, the Brits do it best. My favorite beer is Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale.

Don't drink anything harder.

Peace.
