Darkness overwhelms
em
shinning out the light
C
The nail that you tossed
am
with red blood from the knife
Pierces through the mirror
reflects only pieces of bad
The inner goodness of your life
disappears into a blend
C/am
What it gives, to feed your inner self
what it takes, when you fight against your will
What is knows, no strength remains with in you
What it does, takes all that you consume
Your smile is cement upon my lips
No words come out of my mouth
I'm blind folded by your touch
My arms are fondled by your sight
I am cold, and I am warm
Your eyes bring out the storm
But clouds rain down on my parade
Then I close my eyes, and I wake up
What it gives, to feed your inner self
what it takes, when you fight against your will
What is knows, no strength remains in you
What it does, takes all that you consume
Puzzled am I, these thoughts that choke
Scream from the water, my hands are numb
A blue faced lie, that I was once told
Wake up with water, wake up in the night
Shake me up, awake me from this dream
My fantasy with demons at play
Only cover my mask with red
And so only then can I grow a tail
To sway myself out of this place
and carry away with the wind
I will fly across your hair
And bury myself in sin
