It appears you decided to follow them around a bit during the eighties... LOL... must have been nice. I have only seen three actual Floyd shows live... once on the Momentary Lapse tour and two Division Bell shows. I have seen a few of the individual solo shows, but those, although very good, admittedly aren't quite the same thing. If they ever do tour as the Floyd again though, whatever the lineup, I have decided to become a bit of a camp follower and see as many of those shows as I can. Sincerely hope that opportunity presents itself at some point in the future.

I had the chance back then... had a great job, living at my parents house almost no costs, i didn't go out or something... NO GIRLFRIEND (which is always a pain in the wallet LOL)... so i could go... a few years later i had a wife and kids... so didn't had the opportunity to go...
Next time i probably will see one or two shows... i have to see them in London and if they are coming to the Netherlands... of course i will visit them there as well...

I caught the Syracuse shows of floyd in 87 & 94. I had to be convinced to go to the 94 show and it was great.

Tours in Australia
well they're pretty rare, but i was 6 rows from the front on the World Tour back in 1987. saw them in Melbourne. awesome gig. they switched to true quadraphonic for the second half and did heaps of old stuff. when they played comfortably numb, i sunk back in my seat and thought "if i die now, ive done everything i want to do in my life"
