What is the best post rogers song BAR HIGH HOPES?

I love live versions of lost for words, sorrow is also great

For me, it's a tie between "Poles Apart" and "Learning to Fly."
"One Slip" and "Keep Talking" are close, too.

I love "Yet Another Movie/Round & Round" (all of side 2 of MLOR except 'Sorrow' really), but I always find myself drawn to "One Slip". It gets an awful lot of slating but I love it, a great dark pop song.

I was in a pub recently and two guys looking the worse for wear came in with two guitars. After a couple of pints the barman convinced them to play a few tunes and after a battalion of the usual crap - Damien Rice, Frames, Van Morrison, Beatles etc - they played an absolutely sublime acoustic version of "Take it Back". Senses pricked I asked 'em if they had any more Floyd in their cannon, but it was the only Floyd tune they knew. Still, it was fine and dandy as an acoustic strum and they got 2 free pints off this old soak for their efforts.

I should add cluster one. Recently this has been soaring up my rankings of all floyd songs, it would probably make it to the top 20 i reckon.

Yeah, 'Cluster One' is a beauty. Especially the alleged "full" version with the sound effects thingie that was on the 'Pulse' tape and played before concerts on the 'Bell tour.

Maybe if this thread was called the Worst post-Waters song we might get a clear winner?
