They do put on a great show. I saw them last year in row 8 of a 2500+ seat auditorium in Clearwater, FL, after seeing their show on PBS, and have tickets to see them again in November at the same auditorium in similar seats. They are promising to play a different set of songs from what they played last year. They are endorsed by David Gilmour, and their goal is to duplicate the sound of Pink Floyd as close as possible. I must admit, they do a dam good job of it. On stage, they have a giant inflatable kangaroo.

I have seen them 3 times and the best time was the 2nd time I saw them because they played the best songs like Welcome To THe Machine, Sheep, Pigs On the wing and This thime I heard that they were going to play alot of older stuff like Astronamy Domnine, Green is The Colour, Fat Old Sun, If, ect. However I saw a promo video on chanel 12 and it was at The Royal Albert Hall and it looked like a awsome light show; the best light show yet it looked like. But they did add all these extra people that they did not need. They added some male singer that kind of sounded like David Gilmour in a studio alblum but nothing like him in the real life. They also added another femal vocalist that they also did not need. They also added another gutarist in fact it was the gutarist I saw at the Paramount Theater, Colorado and he was a fill in guy for the best guy there. So that was one of the lame shows. But I will record the show and show every one at pinkfloyd.ws how these guys are.

Post The Australian Pink Floyd Show

I went to the show in denver last night. Sorry, I did not record this show for reasons I am about to explain. Well the show was not worth recording. The show opened with Speak to me and they did that for about 5 minutes then they went into breathe and so on untill eclipse then they took a intermision. The first half was like a half-hour. And the origanal darkside of the moon is 50 minutes. So then they started the 2nd half with Shine On You Crazy Daimond then they did Learning to Fly and then they did keep talking and then another divison bell song witch I can't remember the name of. But after that they supprised me with Nobody Home. The bass player was siting on a sofa sining it trying to be like rog but they could of cut that from he set list because I would rather here different songs then that. Then they did Pigs (three different ones) On that song they had a huge inflatable pig. Then they did like 3 more divison bell songs and then one of these days where they had a kanguroo on stage and that was kind of cool. They did that song realy good. Then they did the regular hits like Another Brick in The Wall Pt.2 Comforatbly Numb And Run Like Hell. So they basicly Took pulse and changed up the order. I mean I like Pulse but I think It is a subsitute for pink floyd. It's not pink floyd with out david gilmour, roger waters, rick wright, or nick mason. All 4 of them have to be at the concert for pink floyd to be real. This band played all the hits. I like the hits and al but I think the stuff they play is starting to get boring and they should play more older stuff because like I said the stuff they played was all boring one of these days was the only song that was acculy exiting and I was suprised when they played that. They at least have to play Green Is The Colour, Carfull With That Axe, Eugene, Echoes. And some of the other stuff. They can't just play Division Bell Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell and Comforatbly Numb all the time. The point is that they have to improve there set list. They have to throw some older stuff in there. Now I think seeing the australian pink floyd show is now a option.

I think musically and visually, they are clearly the best- vocally however, I think Which One's Pink? has them beat from what I've heard. The Aussies put on such a good show though, that that doesn't matter much.

Actually I haven't seen them either... I've just seen videos. Their Southampton Dock/The Final Cut was especially perfect. Sadly, they play mostly in California so most of us won't get the chance to see them, at least for a while.
